The feed trough for sows is designed for feeding in the farrowing area. The trough is mounted on a base of strong galvanized steel. It is spacious and molded from MDPE plastic, creating a strong and durable construction.

The "feeding entrance" at the back can be used for feeding with a bucket but can also be used with a tractor and auger. The grate ensures that the feed easily flows into the trough while keeping birds out.

From the front "eating entrance," the sow must push a galvanized steel plate to access the feed. This plate prevents birds from accessing the feed from this side. The plate can be adjusted inward with a chain to help young sows and gilts learn to use it.

The feed trough can also be mounted with a clean water tank, providing the sow with easy access to clean water.
